RE/GENERATE

2024

Collection RE/GENERATE celebrates women's union with the nature by embodying 5 archetypes based on women's menstural cycle: the Pendulum, the Creator, La loba (or The Crone), the Spiral, Oak tee and the Unseen. The archetypes - born from visions, dreams and ways of ancient tribes are embodied through colour, silhouettes, fabric choices and most importantly - craft: a way of making. In this work the designer emphasizes the significance and historical relevance of handicraft - using various traditional ways of crafting to tell the unspoken and underappreciated art history of and made by women. 

This collection has been created as graduate work at Vilnius Academy of Arts.
